Cookies for Sissy's Students~

Yup, yet another round of cookie decorating session. This time it is for my big sis who wanted some cookies for her students. So sweet right?!!!! Being her student is a plus (otherthan the nagging, the scolding and the super strict this and that...yadah yadah...) because you will get to bring home goodies every now and then.

Let me diverse a little =x I always remember Mr Chin (my JC Math tuition teacher). Best tutor ever (though I didnt get an A1 for my 'A's...that was totally none of his fault but mine). You can see his passion and drive which motivate us (my gf and I were his student) a lot. The 1.5 hour lessons were most of the time lengthen to 3+hours which we never complained (he covers each topic really really well). He always gave us 15 minutes break during lesson (finally I made the link to the part of bringing goodies home) where he will give us yummy chilled packet drink and sweets and most of the time we get special snacks from overseas - if he has any extras, he will give them to us so we can bring home to share with our family! ^^V so sweet right?!!!! Kinda miss those days.....

Ok back to where I was....Yesterday I was busy baking a batch of cookies for my cousin's baby 1st month birthday this coming Saturday and for Big Sissy's student. Most of the time I will be alone decorating the cookies waaaaaaayyyyyyy past midnight (due to some circumstances....which happens to be important meetings with friends that I can't reject). It happened again this time, except the fact that I wasn't decorating alone. My Big Sissy offered to help! ^^ She said she wanna leave her 'footprints' on these cookies that she will be giving her students - telling them that even though she can't bake, she is able to decorate these cookies for them!

Last night I was out on a 'secret' mission hence only managed to get back at 11pm. I was dead tired to be honest. But no matter how tired I was, work is work. I had to finish decorating those cookies so they will be dry in time for me to pack. As said earlier, I had promised sis to help with her cookie decoration. So my sis waited for me to be home even though she had to wake up early for work the next day (so touch...her students better appreciate her hardwork). And so Sis said she wants to write names on the cookies. I taught her the basic of using the piping bag (not in details though). See those writings on the Star cookies? She wrote those. Not bad for someone who held a piping bag for the 1st time right? (I bet the one who taught her is a good teacher =x while I am sure she thinks that is because she is a talented student -.-) She stayed up with me till really late like around 1-2am while I finished at around 3+am with all the cleaning, washing and packing up.

Most of the designs were repeated (the daisy and sun). However, I made a new design for the boys in her class. A car cookie. :)

For the 1st month, I made this special stacked up cookie. Tried using the comic effect on this photo. Turns out not bad right? (though that isn't its true color)

All packed up for the party tomorrow! Pretty pink bags of cookies! :D

I only had 4 hours of sleep last night. Better head to bed now! Good Night to all! >o<

  1. Lol. Yes, the advantages of being my students are getting lots of naggings, scoldings, rules and goodies!!

Thanks to my bb sista that my students Hv the 福气 to get cookies rather than the usual candies or chocolates.

Haha. I do think I m so talented to write so prettily!! But of Cuz, I won't 忘恩负义 . My 师父 is bery fantastic too, to guide and be patient w my unpro piping. Hee.
